On October 5, 2020, the board of education approved to go back to school 4 days a week with Wednesday serving as a remote day.  Wednesday’s remote day allows Pleasant to deep clean buildings and buses after 48 hours of instruction. Additionally, it allows our staff to provide small group interventions through zoom and other digital means for Option #2 and Option #1 students.

Option #2 students will remain in remote instruction as the parent contract states until the end of first semester.  The change to a 4-day face-to-face instructional plan will begin October 26th and end on January 15th.  At the end of November, we will be emailing a sign up for any family wishing to participate in our Option #2 Remote program for the second semester.  We will need a decision from families by December 1st, in order to prepare class rosters.

In the event, the numbers of positive COVID cases spread throughout the community or within quarantined students across the county, the board also approved that Pleasant will move into a remote mode of instruction for the remainder of the week as the situation is assessed and plans for determining if our district can return to face to face or if a hybrid model is needed.

Thank you for your continued support and make today your best day yet!
